Residents are advised that the CareerLink Central West Van will be visiting Main Street, Grenfell each month with the next visit scheduled for Tuesday 10 August 2021 from 11:00am until 11:30am.

CareerLink Central West is a community-based, regional career 3development service delivered by Skillset that provides free, accessible and quality careers information and advice to help working-age residents made educated career decisions and support local businesses with the skilled and informed workforce they need to grow and thrive into the future.

A CareerLink Consultant will be available to speak with residents about the service, and to register them for career assistance and advice.

WEDDIN LOCAL HERITAGE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 2021/2022

Council is seeking expressions of interest from owners of property who may wish to undertake conservation works on structures that could be classed as having historic or heritage value. Conservation work includes repairs, replacement, painting or removal of inappropriate alterations/additions.

Each application will be treated on its merit and all ratepayers are eligible to apply.

COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES FOR COMMITTEES

Council appoints community representatives to a number of its committees.

The members of each Council committee are due to be re-appointed at the Ordinary September Council meeting for the period 1 October 2021 - 30 September 2023. Accordingly, nominations are invited for the following community representative positions: -
