Council calls for EOI for Soldiers Memorial Hall Community Consultation Group

“The upgrade will involve a multi-staged refurbishment of the building with the initial stage focusing on the maintenance and repair of the entire building, as well as upgrading the front portion of the building,” Mayor Antonio said. “We want the building to be a place that people enjoy which is safe, comfortable, accessible and most importantly, promotes a sense of community as a gathering space or meeting place.” TRC Property Services Chair, Cr Geoff McDonald said the Soldiers Memorial Hall Community Consultation Group will provide feedback to Council during the project upgrade. “The application form will provide background information about the project and ask applicants about any specific skills, their ability to commit to the project and also ask for a 25 word or less response telling us how they can contribute to the community consultation group.
