POSITION VACANT – TEAM LEADER ENVIRONMENT /BUILDING CERTIFICATION

Council is inviting applications from motivated and enthusiastic persons to fill the position of Team Leader Environment/Building Certification in Council’s Organisation Structure.

Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.

GRENFELL MAIN STREET RENEWAL – COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

Council’s draft plans for the Grenfell Main Street Renewal are currently on public exhibition until 11 September 2019.

The draft plans can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building,  the Community Hub, and at www.weddin.nsw.gov.au.

A community consultation day will be held at the Community Hub on Tuesday 3 September, 2019 at the following times:

General Public: 9:00am – 3.30pm Local Businesses: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

The consultants and all key staff will be in attendance to answer any questions from the public.

Residents are encouraged to attend.

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION SESSION – TOURISM SIGNAGE AUDIT AND STRATEGY

Weddin Shire Council is inviting members of the community, including the business community, village residents and tourism operators to attend a tourism signage audit and strategy community consultation session.

The session which will incorporate concept plans will be held at the Grenfell Bowling Club on Tuesday 10th September at 6pm with Councils consultants attending the session to present the draft plans to the public and receive community feedback.

Please RSVP to Ph 6343 2855 by September 5th for catering purposes.

Residents are encouraged to attend.

Council has received an Application for a new Industrial Building over LOT: 71 DP: 1148241 Grafton Street GRENFELL 2810.

Inspection:      The application DA 25/2019 for New Industrial Building may be viewed between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm from 26 August 2019 and 18 September 2019 at the Council’s Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

Submissions:   Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period.  Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

Written submissions are to be received at Council by 4.00 pm on 18 September 2019.
