Come along to better understand your electricity bills and learn practical energy saving tips to help you reduce your energy use and overall costs. Solar PV installation is an increasingly popular way for NSW households to save on energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint. Battery storage is also attracting considerable attention.   The information, tools and resources provided in these free workshops will help you decide if a solar or battery storage option is right for your household.

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said rooftop solar installations are booming and more and more people in our community are interested in learning more about solar panels.

“These workshops will provide free, independent advice on solar, battery storage and reducing energy use for homes and small businesses in cost-effective ways.”

If you’re interested in coming along, register online at libraries.cessnock.nsw.gov.au under ‘Events & Bookings’ or by calling Cessnock Library on 4993 4399 or Kurri Kurri Library on 4937 1638.
