Bellingen Library is delighted to host author Noel Braun on Tuesday 18 September from 2.30 to 4.00pm as he talks about his new book ‘I Guess I’ll Just Keep on Walking’.

Noel Braun embarked on a spiritual quest of self-discovery after the suicide of his wife Maris. He decided to walk two of the more popular routes of the Camino de Santiago, which is described in his earlier book ‘The Day Was Made for Walking’.

Two more Camino journeys followed, but different routes were taken. Woven into his spiritual and emotional journey are fascinating stories of the people he meets. His most recent book ‘I Guess I’ll Just Keep on Walking’ is a sequel to his earlier book where the spiritual and physical merge with the ancient and the modern. Noel undertook these pilgrimages in his late 70’s and early 80’s.

Last year at the age of 84, he embarked on a fifth journey, the subject perhaps of a future book.

Bellingen Shire Librarian, Jill Haynes urges book lovers not to miss the opportunity to meet this inspiring author who is also an advocate for suicide awareness and prevention.  Copies of Noel’s five books will be available for purchase on the day.
