Date18 April 2024 Thanks to funding from Healthway, the City of Rockingham, in partnership with the South Metropolitan Health Service Health Promotion team and Western Australian School Canteen Association, has collaborated to create positive health environments at its four major leisure facilities: Mike Barnett Sports Complex, Rockingham Aquatic Centre, Aqua Jetty and Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex.To promote healthier eating options in line with the City’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy, the City has implemented a range of initiatives to assist patrons to evaluate their food and drink choices based on nutritional value.
