Keen 2021 trainees start early

Eight trainees and one apprentice have upped-tools to make an early start with Eurobodalla Council this week.General manager Catherine Dale welcomed some of the 2021 cohort of trainees and apprentices on Monday 30 November and urged them to take full advantage of their time with Council.“Our trainees will be here for 12 months and will qualify for a Certificate III in Business Administration while gaining valuable experience, training in areas as diverse as children’s services, finance, or property,” Dr Dale said.“We’ve just the one apprentice starting now, with the rest of the intake to begin, as usual, in February 2021.”Dr Dale said she enjoyed following the progress of recruits as they acquired skills for the future.“The program has been running for well over a decade now, taking in 99 trainees, cadets and apprentices,” Dr Dale said.“It’s particularly heartening to see many of them choosing to stay on with Council.
