Introducing Clive, a beautiful Abyssinian cross, who is just one of the cute animals currently residing at the Pittwater Animal Hospital waiting to be rehomed.

Council’s ‘pound’ has recently seen a significant increase in animals available for adoption.

Sarah Yelavic from Pittwater Animal Hospital said that there are more people returning to the office which for some pets can be distressing.

Other owners may be downsizing or moving to a house that doesn’t allow pets.

Sarah said you can view all of their pets available for adoption on their Facebook page, but please book an appointment first to visit their pets, given that they are an extremely busy vets.

The adoption fee is $290 for kittens and $150 for adult cats which includes all initial vaccines, microchipping, desexing, council registration.
