Exhibition of Draft Housekeeping Amendment to the City of Parramatta DCP 2021

The City of Parramatta is exhibiting proposed amendments to the City of Parramatta (Outside CBD) Development Contributions Plan 2021. The Plan has now been in effect for approximately 12 months, and a limited number of minor issues have been identified, that the proposed amendments seek to address.

Changes to the Outside CBD Contributions Plan

The key changes sought in the proposed amendment include:

Introduction of new levy on additional residential lots Introduction of new worker occupancy rates for ‘childcare facilities’ and ‘indoor recreation facilities’ Minor changes and/or clarifications to definitions including ‘modifications of consent’, references to Council’s Voluntary Planning Agreement Register, Council’s process for crediting monetary contributions to new or modified applications before considering refunds; and minor changes to update references to clarify which sections of the EP&A Act apply to development contributions through complying development.
