Residents are being reminded that a majority of Council’s services and facilities will be closed during the National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 22 September.

Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre, Eagle Vale Central and Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre will be open from 9.30am to 3pm and the Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Sports Centre will be open from 6am to 12pm.

The centres will be open for casual use only and no swim school, aqua or group exercise classes or squad classes will be held.

Services closed during the day include:

Campbelltown Civic Centre Library services Education and care services Community Recycling Centre Visitor Information Centre Animal Care Facility

Waste collection services will continue but may start slightly earlier than usual so residents should make sure to put their bins out on Wednesday night.

Residents can still submit enquiries or documentation online throughout the day.
