Expressions of interest for Yass Soldiers’ Memorial Hall office spaces

Council is seeking expressions of interest for use of the office spaces at the front of Yass Soldiers’ Memorial Hall. There are several spaces available. Road maintenance activities – 29 August-2 September Maintenance grading Council appreciates the importance of maintaining the entire unsealed road network, however, continual wet weather has hindered the delivery of our scheduled maintenance program being undertaken in a timely fashion.

Positions Vacant 

Strategic Planner (term contractor) Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 29 August To manage the strategic planning outcomes for North Murrumbateman. 

Trainee Development Planner Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 29 August To gain the skills and knowledge to work as a development planner. 

Compliance Ranger Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 5 September Undertake compliance activities within the Yass Valley LGA in accordance with the relevant legislation as part of the planning and environment division. 

Lifeguard/Pool Attendant (several casual positions available)  Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 12 September  Yass Valley Council is seeking several casual lifeguards to provide supervision and swimming lessons to pool patrons at Yass and Binalong swimming pools.  

Trainee Building Certifier Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 26 September  To gain the skills and knowledge to gain registration as a Building Certifier (A3) under the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018.
