Manly kids, get excited! Construction of the new playground at Little Manly Point is set to start on Monday.

The inclusive playground will provide hours of fun for everyone with a range of play equipment for all ages as well as a nature trail, new seating, access improvements and new fencing around the rear boundary.

The marine themed junior play area will feature a timber boat, ship mast, binoculars, wheel, megaphone, wave play mound and an inground jumping pad.

While slightly older kids will love the raised timber deck with a climbing net, fireman pole, curved slide, shop front and rock climbing wall.

On top of all that there will be swings for all ages and abilities.

The existing playground will be closed for construction from Monday 14 February, with the new playground expected to open in late March.

Construction on the amenities building which includes unisex accessible and ambulant toilets, and a baby change table is expected to start in May.

The playground is an exciting part of the Little Manly Reserves Landscape Masterplan and is part of our ongoing improvements to this area.
