Residents can now have their say on proposed safety upgrades to Stranraer Drive, St Andrews.

Proposed works include the installation of four speed cushions as traffic calming devices at various locations along the street to ensure drivers are travelling at a safe speed.

“Stranraer Drive is an important connection for local residents to a major arterial route on Raby Road, resulting in heavier traffic usage,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

“These upgrades will ensure drivers on our local roads are doing the right thing, keeping to the speed limit and keeping the surrounding community safe,” Cr Brticevic said.
