Please avoid walking or driving through flood waters, it may be deeper and faster flowing than anticipated and/or the road may have suffered extensive damage hidden beneath the water.

Road Closure - North Forbes Road (SR 85) remains closed to all vehicles approx. 12km east of Condobolin due to water over the road.

Road Open – with extreme caution, closed to light vehicles Kiacatoo Road (MR 7521) west of Kiacatoo has water across road and should be travelled with extreme caution. Although the road surface is not damaged at present road users should be aware that damage can occur suddenly. Light vehicles are recommended to use alternate route as water level across road has increased. An alternate route on unsealed roads is available via Kiagathur Road (SR 1031) and Bimbella Road (SR 56). Water is expected to remain across Kiacatoo Road while the Lachlan River is at high levels.
