This morning Moree’s most recent sewage test result has returned a low positive reading for COVID-19 fragments.
Moree Mayor Katrina Humphries stated, “My understanding is it is such a low reading for COVID-19, that no urgent notifications were received by the Mayor, General Manager Lester Rodgers, our Moree Police, or local member Adam Marshall by close of business on Friday”.
"However, this is a good wake-up call to the community to get out get tested, and take advantage of the vaccination clinic today the Moree Services Club".
"Additional sewerage samples will be submitted for testing as soon as possible and the community will be kept up to date with these results as they come to hand".
