Would you like to learn more about Council’s Draft Lower Bellinger & Kalang Rivers Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan? If so, you are invited to attend one of two information sessions being held by the Consultant Team that helped prepare the Draft Study and Plan.

The first of two information sessions will be held on Tuesday 08th June 2021 between 5pm – 6pm at the Urunga Literary Hall, located at 19 Bowra Street, Urunga, and the second information session will be held on Wednesday 09th June 2021 between 4:30pm – 6pm at Bellingen Shire Council’s Administration Centre, located at 33 Hyde Street, Bellingen.

During the information sessions the Consultant Team will answer any questions you may have regarding the Draft Study and Plan, and you are encouraged to review the Draft Lower Bellinger & Kalang Rivers Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan via Council’s Create online engagement portal by simply clicking here or by using the link below:

Further, please note the following:

in line with current advice from the Office of Local Government, there are still restrictions on the number of persons who can attend a meeting, therefore it is important to note that at Bellingen Council’s Administration Centre, no more than 17 members of the public can be inside Council Chambers at any given time all meetings must adhere to the social distancing 4 square metre rule and all information session attendees are required to check in using Council’s QR Code before attending these sessions
