Residents are invited to participate in a series of art workshop at the On Q space in the Campbelltown CBD.

Twilight Workshops on Q will be held at the rejuvenated Lithgow Street Mall space on the first Thursday of each month.

The first workshop will be held by Alcohol Ink Studios on Thursday 4 February between 5.30pm and 7pm, teaching people how to use alcohol inks to create three artworks they can then take home with them.

On Thursday 4 March between 5.30pm and 7pm and 7.30pm and 9pm, Planties in a Knot will hold a Macrame workshop teaching people the steps to create a wall hanging for their home.

“Join us at the Lithgow Street Mall each month to unwind after work and learn how to make different types of artwork,” Mayor George Brticevic said.

“It’s also a great opportunity to pick up a bite to eat from some of the great restaurants and eateries we have in the area and check out the fantastic On Q space that has been set up on Lithgow Street,” Cr Brticevic said.

Twilight Workshops on Q is part of the On Q activation program which will test and trial different ideas and programs to enhance the Campbelltown CBD, particularly the Queen St precinct, over the coming months.

People can leave their feedback and ideas for the project at overtoyou.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/on-q

On Q is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Streets as Shared Spaces program.

Bookings for the workshop are essential.
