Expressions of Interest

Is your Group interested in hosting an Event for the 2021 International Women’s Day? Carrathool Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from a Community Group to partner with Council to deliver a 2021 International Women’s Day Event in the Shire during the NSW Women’s Week.

Through a series of events and activities, the Week celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and promotes gender equality.  The week coincides with International Women’s Day and the NSW Women of Year Awards.

The event is to be held during the week of 8-14 March 2021.  Council will contribute $1,600 to the successful group to be spent on the event.  Previous events in the Shire have included a fashion parade, a health and well-being workshop and a morning tea.

Please submit your Expressions of Interest for an event to [email protected], attention John Randall – Economic Development Officer.  Your submission will include a description of the event, a budget for the event and how the event aligns with the NSW Women’s Week themes for 2021.  Please refer to the link below for assistance to help with your submission.
