GRENFELL MAIN STREET RENEWAL PROJECT WEBSITE

Tuesday 22 December 2020 was a significant day for the Weddin Shire with the first sod turned on Council’s multimillion dollar Grenfell Main Street Renewal project. The Hon. Steph Cooke MP and Mayor Mark Liebich broke ground on the exciting development which will enhance the amenity of Grenfell and, by extension the Weddin Shire.

Council is asking residents and businesses to be patient whilst works are underway and look forward to the finished product of this vital investment in our community’s future.

Council has created a project website to provide frequent updates on the status of the works as well as the latest information on the project. The website can be accessed at the following URL https://grenfell-main-street-renewal-weddin.hub.arcgis.com/

MAIN STREET FURNITURE FAMILY DESIGN

As part of its Grenfell Main Street Renewal project, Council is developing a family of street furniture that sympathetically considers Grenfell's heritage scheme and shares a nexus with existing signage and facilities.

A number of different design options have been compiled and Council is currently seeking community feedback; the design proposal report can be viewed on Council's Public Exhibition webpage.

Written submissions are invited and will be received by the undersigned up until 5:00pm on Wednesday, 17 February 2021.
