Public Consultation Submissions welcome for Civic Precinct

In February 2020, Council endorsed a ‘wish list’ of projects and resolved to undertake planning and design work so the projects would be ‘shovel ready’ in the event of grant funding opportunities. One of these projects is a Civic Precinct, which would include a new library, community rooms and exhibition spaces, long term Government tenants and the retention of Crago's Mill among other elements. Council is keen to understand if the elements for inclusion in the Civic Precinct meet community needs and expectations. Community members are invited to make a submission on the proposed location and scope of works. For more information.
