Casual Early Childhood Educator

The Casual Early Childhood Educator is required to work with the Children’s Services team to ensure that local families have access to high quality children’s services within the Gwydir Shire, this includes the Tharawonga Mobile Preschool Unit as well as other services. This is a casual position, there are no guaranteed minimum hours. This position is classified as Grade 3 with a commencing hourly pay rate of $26.80.

Labourer (Engineering Services)

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting Council’s Technical Services team with the construction, repair and maintenance of Council’s roads, in line with the works program. They must hold a Class C driver licence and NSW General Induction for Construction card. This is a permanent full-time position classified as Grade 2 with a commencing hourly pay rate of $23.58 per hour.

Technical Officer (Engineering Services)

The Technical Officer (Engineering Services) will be responsible for providing technical support to the Engineering Asset Coordinator and Engineering Staff across all areas of responsibility including site investigations, survey and design, asset inspections and special projects. They must hold a Class C driver licence and NSW General Induction for Construction card. This is a permanent full-time position classified as Grade 8 with an hourly pay rate of $39.93 per hour and includes a Council vehicle with unlimited private use.
