Library to reopen in June Posted Tuesday 26 May 2020

Barry O’Keefe Library will reopen for limited hours from Monday 1 June with users aged 60 and over welcome from 11am to 12 noon and other members of the public from 12 noon to 3pm seven days a week.

The library will be closed on Monday June 8 for the Queen’s Birthday public holiday and will reopen Tuesday 9 June from 11am to 3pm.

In the initial opening phase, services will be limited to ‘Browse and Borrow’, allowing library users to return items, as well as browse the shelves and check out new loans.

The library’s returns chute has reopened with loan extensions continuing until 30 June.

Our online library remains available for access to our eCollections or use the Library’s new app (Apple App Store and Google Play) to stay updated on the future scheduling of events and activities. Our previously scheduled programs and activities, public computer access and general reading areas will be progressively reintroduced on dates to be advised.
