POSITION VACANT – MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Gwydir Shire Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Media and Communications Officer.

This is a temporary full-time position, covering a 12 month period of maternity leave, and is classified as Band 2 level 2, Grade 6 in Council’s competency-based salary system with a commencing salary of $1150.44 per week.

This position is responsible for providing effective communication and marketing services to support Gwydir Shire Council’s organisational programs including the management and implementation of a range of communication, engagement, liaison, media and marketing projects.
