Library and Information Week and National Simultaneous Storytime has been celebrated in Australia for more than 20 years; but in 2020 with the impact of COVID-19, it’s going to be a little bit different.

Mayor Matthew Deeth said, “The Wollondilly Library has a jam packed schedule of events lined up to celebrate Library and Information Week.”

“This is a great opportunity to highlight all of the wonderful services that libraries bring to the community,” he said.

“Our local library staff have been doing some innovative new things in response to COVID-19 and I look forward to what they have in store for this special occasion.”

Celebrated nationally from 25 May 2020 to 29 May 2020, this year's theme for Library Week is 'Create'.

Wollondilly Library and Information Service is hosting some fabulous events across the week on their Facebook page.
