Carrathool Shire Flood Damage Project 2020/008

Council is seeking expressions of interest for services of a Contract Administrator for delivery of the Carrathool Flood Damage Project.

Council will call for selective tenders (Section 55(4) of the Act) following evaluation and discussion with respondents to the Expression of Interest. Persons, contractors or other organisations must have proven capability to complete all works that will be required in the proposed contract.

The works to be carried out under the proposed contract shall include:

Full-time supervision of site works over a period of 6 to 12 months Call and chair a compulsory pre-tender meeting for interested contractors Review and recommendations relating to construction contractor tender returns, for 3 No. 2019 DRFA projects. Finalisation of formal contract documentation for the projects Pegging out of works Chairing of prestart meeting/s for each project Progressively notify Council of work fronts, for dissemination via Council website, Social Media, etc Preparing photographic evidence of completed works to meet DRFA guidelines/requirements Review, processing and recommendation of monthly contractor payment claims Preparation of monthly progress claims from Council to RMS/OEM Preparation of monthly project dashboard/s and reporting, including progress mapping and expenditure Assessment and recommendation relating to practical completion claims Preparation of acquittal documentation to meet DRFA requirements Packaging and handover of all project documentation for Council archiving
