Seniors Concert postponed due to coronavirus concerns

Due to the developing situation around coronavirus, Council has put community safety first and will postpone the April 22 and 23 Seniors Concerts at Liverpool Catholic Club featuring Tony Sergi.

“It was a tough decision to make as we know the Seniors Concerts are very popular and always sell out,” Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“But this is not a cancellation, simply a postponement because of our concern for our community. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

Almost one in five Liverpool residents is over 55 and Council holds many events throughout the year to celebrate the important role seniors play in our community.

Last month hundreds of residents enjoyed a range of free events during the Love To Celebrate-themed Seniors Festival from February 13-21.
