Snowy Monaro Regional Council will hold an Extraordinary Council Meeting next week to consider disaster recovery funding arrangements to assist bush fire affected residents and business operators.
The Extraordinary Council Meeting will be held in the Cooma council chambers on Thursday 5 March, from 5pm.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council Mayor Peter Beer said the meeting will provide Councillors with the opportunity to further discussions on how best to deliver disaster recovery funding.
“Council is committed to assisting our bush fire affected residents and business operators,” Councillor Beer said.
“We are mindful of the need to ensure assistance is delivered swiftly and reaches the people it needs to.”
The meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed on Council’s website.
