Australia Day celebrations will once again be held across the Kyogle Local Government Area (LGA) in 2020.

Kyogle, Woodenbong and Bonalbo (West of the Range) will host events as well as present Australia Day Awards.

Nominations for the Australia Day Awards are now open.

In Kyogle, awards will be presented in seven categories:

Citizen of the Year Junior Citizen of the Year Senior Sportsperson of the Year Junior Sportsperson of the Year Senior Student of the Year (High School) Junior Student of the Year (Primary) Senior Citizen of the Year

Nomination forms are available from locations around Kyogle including Council’s administration centre. They can also be downloaded by clicking here. Nominations close on 17 December 2019.

In Woodenbong, awards will be presented in six categories:

Citizen of the Year Young Citizen of the Year Sportsperson of the Year Community Organisation/Event Business/Service Environmental Citizen or Organisation of the Year

Bonalbo’s Australia Day Committee will present awards in five categories

Citizen of the Year Young Citizen of the Year Sportsperson of the Year Community Organisation/Event Business/Service
