Following an extensive and rigorous recruitment process, Wollondilly Councillors have appointed Mr Ben Taylor to the role of CEO from a group of high quality candidates.

Mayor Matthew Deeth said, ”Ben Taylor comes with a wealth of experience and expertise leading an organisation of the size and complexity of Wollondilly Council.”

“He’s had experience at both local government and state government levels and has a passion for delivering high quality outcomes for the community through innovation and continuous improvement.”

“He will be well placed to lead the organisation into the future, as Wollondilly embraces the challenges and opportunities of the growing population.”

Mr Taylor said that he is very pleased to be joining Wollondilly. He is looking forward to getting to know the community and working closely with the Mayor and Councillors to enhance what is already such a great place to live.

Mr Taylor will be commencing as CEO on 23 September 2019.
