One Night At The Museum volunteers wanted

Published Friday, 16th August 2019

Fairfield City Museum & Gallery is seeking volunteers to help deliver its exciting free annual event, One Night at the Museum.

Volunteers will work closely with local artists to help with zine making and mini graffiti workshops, help setup and operate the selfie stand photo booth, and assist with a range of other activities and performances. These practical skills can be transferred into future careers.

Returning to Fairfield City Museum & Gallery on Friday 6 September, the popular event invites visitors to experience contemporary art at twilight with an exciting twist.

This year’s theme Authentic Influencers explores the conversations that artists and creatives have on how society and communities navigate social media and online spaces.

The evening will feature an array of exciting artworks from local artists, music and live performances, immersive installations and an assortment of creative workshops, all of which responds to positive body image, cultural celebration, mental health and how we communicate with others online.

Join in the conversation and the fun on this annual twilight event!

Register your interest online at www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/ONATMvolunteer or contact Fairfield City Museum & Gallery on 9725 0190.
