Lithgow City Council wishes to advise that the water supply in the area of Rabaul Street, between Amiens Street and Lemnos Street, Lithgow may be affected.

Council will be undertaking emergency repairs on the reticulation network that services Rabaul Street, between Amiens Street and Lemnos Street area. It is advised that during this time you may experience reduced water pressure and/or no water at all.

Council cannot advise at what time repairs will be complete, but will aim to minimise the period of disruption.

Upon return of normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. Council will endeavour to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run a tap to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed.

Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to ensure residents that the service will be returned as soon as possible.
