Bring your skate boards, scooters and BMX bikes and get ready to roll with aspiring Olympians at the Riverstone skate and youth space community fun day on Saturday 16th February.

International Australian pro-skaters, Kieran Woolley ranked 7th in Australia and Liv Lovelace ranked 20th will be testing the newly constructed skate and youth space.

“The day will feature a spectacular show by international skaters and scooter riders, giveaways from the Scooter Hut Parramatta, and a free sausage sizzle,” Blacktown City Mayor Stephen Bali MP said.

“The community fun day is a demonstration of Council’s continuing commitment to youth in Western Sydney.

“It’s a free event that everyone, young and old will enjoy,” Mayor Bali said.

“This skate and youth space is located in one of the fastest growing areas in our City, and we are proud to deliver a modern facility for the enjoyment of young people and their families.”

Blacktown City Council secured a $400,000 grant from the Australian Government to construct the skate park.

Australian professional and internationally recognised pro skater Renton Millar (Owner and Founder of Shredability) will be emceeing the day as the pro skaters provide the Riverstone skate, scooter and bike community with an unforgettable show.
