Perenjori Standpipe
Shire of Perenjori 28 Sep 2018

PERENJORI STANDPIPE INFORMATION

In the interests of water conservation and reducing Water Corporation charges to the Shire, the Shire of Perenjori has recently installed an access card machine to the water standpipe opposite the Perenjori Roadhouse.

To obtain a Standpipe Access Card, intending users will need to contact the Perenjori Shire Office either in person or over the phone (9973 0100) and provide contact details for billing purposes. Potential high usage customers may be directed to the Water Corporation for prior approval before cards are issued.

All applications for new, replacement or additional cards will incur a $35.00 administration fee.   Ongoing water consumption fees and charges will be those set by the Council when adopting the Annual Budget from year to year.

Each Standpipe Access Card holder will be responsible for the safety and security of their card and all charges that result from the use of the card. Lost or stolen cards should be reported to the Shire of Perenjori immediately. Cards reported lost or stolen will be cancelled. Unused cards should be returned to the Shire Office for safe keeping.

During times of drought or water shortages, access to the standpipe may be restricted or prohibited by the Water Corporation or the Shire of Perenjori.

The Shire of Perenjori reserves its right to withdraw the water standpipe service if the service is abused.

Should you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Shire on 9973 0100 or visit the Perenjori Shire Office between 8am – 4pm weekdays.
