Major acquisition for MAMA

The series, Flyblown, will show alongside one of Riley’s ground-breaking documentary films, Empire.

The exhibition opens to the public on Thursday 10 May, with the official opening on Friday 11 May from 5.30pm.

This significant gift was made possible by the Russell Mills Foundation, the Michael Riley Foundation, and The Commercial gallery in Sydney.

Included in the gift to MAMA was funding to make this exhibition available for touring to other galleries and museums around Australia.

MAMA is thrilled to be entrusted with this significant Australian work and to share it first with the local community.
