ANZAC Day 2018

ANZAC Day Programs for Services (including details of marches and parades) are as follows:

MUNGINDI – Councillor Price

Please note times are earlier than usual so it is in line with the ‘fly over’

Program  5.45am: Dawn Service at RSL Club (followed free BBQ breakfast) Day Service: 10.30am:  Meet for 10.45am start – March starts and finishes in front of RSL Club followed by ANZAC Day Commemoration Service at the RSL Club. ________________________________________

GARAH – Councillor Mayor Katrina Humphries

Program    8.30am: Assemble for the march at the CWA 10.00am: March from the CWA to the Garah Hall for Wreath laying 10.30am: Morning Tea at the Hall ________________________________________

BOOMI – Councillor Montgomery

Program   10.45am:  Assemble for March at the old Post Office 11.00am:  March commences. ANZAC Service at the Boomi Hall Luncheon 12pm to follow at the Hall. ________________________________________

CROOBLE – Councillor Smith

Program   7.30am (for 8.00am Start) Crooble Hall Breakfast BBQ to follow _____________________________________

MOREE Dawn Service – Councillor Crawford

Program   5.50am: Street Parade – meet in Morton Street and march to RSL. 6.00am: Dawn Service at the Memorial Window, Moree RSL Club.  (Breakfast provided 7.00am )  ________________________________________

MOREE Wales Park – General Manager, Lester Rodgers

Program   9.00am: Memorial Service at the Max Wales Memorial (on the river near western side of Moree Services Club). ________________________________________

MOREE Memorial Hall – Councillor Ritchie

Program   9.30am:  The parade will marshal opposite Woolworths. The Salute will be taken in front of Supercheap Auto. 10.00am:  ANZAC Memorial Service at the Memorial Hall (Morning tea in Memorial Hall provided by Girl Guides). ________________________________________

PALLAMALLAWA Dawn Service – Mayor Katrina Humphries

Program   5.00am: Anzac Official Service at the Pallamallawa Memorial Hall (Breakfast will be provided in the Memorial Hall after the ceremony). ________________________________________
