This summer there have been a high number of child drownings and near drownings in backyard swimming pools.

It is the responsibility of pool owners and occupants of properties with swimming pools to ensure the swimming pool safety barrier is compliant with relevant Australian Standards and is maintained to ensure ongoing compliance for the life of the swimming pool.

Mosman Council offers a service to have your swimming pool safety barrier assessed for compliance with relevant pool safety requirements.
