Section 18 (5) of the Bush Fires Act 1954 (as amended) enables Local Government to vary the Prohibited Burning Period due to seasonal conditions.

In accordance with these provisions, notice is hereby given that the PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD for the entire Shire of Collie has been extended from midnight Thursday 14th March 2024 until midnight Thursday 28th March 2024.
