Fire incident information

A bushfire WATCH AND ACT is in place for people in an area bounded by Osmington road to the south, Bell and Stuart road to the north, Jindong-Treeton road to the west and Great North Road to the east in parts of TREETON and OSMINGTON in the SHIRE OF AUGUSTA MARGARET RIVER.

There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is burning in the area and the conditions are changing.

A bushfire ADVICE is in place for people in an area bounded by Wirring road to the west, Gale road to the north, Great North road and Mowen road to the east and Rosa Brook road to the south in the SHIRE OF AUGUSTA MARGARET RIVER and CITY OF BUSSELTON.

There is no threat to lives or homes. Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

Community Meeting

A community meeting will take place at 3pm at Margaret River Recreation Centre, Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River. It is intended that the meeting be livestreamed on the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s Facebook page.

Harvest and Vehicle Movement Bans

A Harvest and Vehicle Movement Bans has been declared for Monday 27 December and Tuesday 28 December. This means the use, or operation of, engines, vehicles, plant or machinery has been banned in the Shire of of Augusta Margaret River between 9am and 5pm on each of these days.
