The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River have erected warning signs at the Molloy side at the boat ramp, Caravan Park, and ferry crossing following The Department of Health’s warning for people to avoid contact with a Lyngbya sp. macro-algal bloom that has formed in waters north and east of Molloy Island, including the channel, in the Hardy Inlet at Augusta. For further information read the The WA Department of Health's Media Release.
