RESTRICTED BURNING TIMES SHORTENING Section 18 (5) Bush Fires Act 1954.

Notice is hereby given that the RESTRICTED BURNING TIMES for the Shire of York have been SHORTENED to Midnight on Sunday, 31 March 2024.

UNRESTRICTED burning will commence 1 April 2024 Permits to Burn will no longer be required from that date.

Pursuant to Section 46 of the Bush Fires Act 1954 Notice is hereby given that all fires other than for the purpose of cooking or camping are PROHIBITED over Easter from Midnight on Thursday, 28 March till Midnight on Sunday, 31 March.
