Sweet Memories: Pancake Day Delight at Kambalda Community Recreation Facility

If you were at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility on Pancake Day Wednesday the 14, February, you would have smelt the smell of delicious pancakes in the air.

 Pancake day is the traditional feast day before Ash Wednesday.

 We celebrated with a delicious Morning Tea at the Kambalda Community Library.

It was a small but a lovely morning tea. A group of ladies they laughed as they ate their pancakes with various toppings such as strawberries, chocolate, maple syrup, cream and much more. We also had a steady flow of people come though afterwards who also enjoyed a pancake or two.

A great morning was had by all and look forward to the next event.
