Expressions of Interest - Community Reference Group - Cottesloe Village Precinct structure Plan

The Town of Cottesloe (the Town) and the Shire of Peppermint Grove (the Shire) are jointly preparing a Precinct Structure Plan for the Cottesloe Activity Centre (Cottesloe Village).

In 2019 a Draft Cott Village Precinct Plan was endorsed by the Town and advertised for public comment. Preliminary work has been undertaken since then, including revising the scope of the project to meet new policy guidelines outlined in State Planning Policy Framework 7.2 (Precinct Structure Plans) released by the Western Australian Planning Commission.  The project  area comprises land within both local government areas and includes the Grove Library, Cottesloe Central Shopping Centre, Cottesloe Train Station and surrounding landholdings, Napoleon Street, Station Street and Jarrad Street.

It covers approximately 20ha within multiple ownerships and management controls. The area also includes land and facilities managed by State Government.

The project is now at the stage where there is  opportunities for interested stakeholders and members of the community to provide input through workshops, open days and a digital survey.

We are therefore seeking Expressions of Interest for a Community Reference Group (CRG) to be part of this important project.

The purpose of the CRG is to provide an opportunity for active and highly engaged residents and ratepayers to provide input and help shape the overall approach for the Cottesloe Village Precinct Structure Plan. More information can be found in the below links
