Disability Upgrades at the Quarry Amphitheatre

Published on 02 February 2023

Facilities at the iconic Quarry Amphitheatre for people with disability are set for an upgrade.

Improvements already completed at the popular venue as part of Stage One works include installation of a hearing loop system that allows Bluetooth capable hearing aids to connect to audio at events.

A new Universal Accessible Toilet (UAT) for patrons is set to be added this year.

Part of the Town's Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, Stage Two works involve renovating the existing female and male toilets, including installation of an additional ambulant female toilet.

Nine compliant wheelchair accessible seating spaces will also be introduced for event-goers.
