2023 Young Citizen of the Year – Teneale Briggs

Teneale embodies what it means to be a good community person. Teneale’s nomination was based on her watching out for younger children whether at play or going to school. Some examples given were her ability to correct any bullying or lack of inclusion with the younger children when she sees it happening, making sure everyone has a chance to play and feel included. We look forward to her growing as a community minded individual.
