Council was very disappointed to discover that between 5pm Tuesday afternoon and 7am Wednesday morning, three established trees were dug up and stolen from Tynwald Park.

Vandalism like this not only affects the people who use the parks and public spaces, but also adds considerable cost to Council and the community to replace trees of this maturity.

The trees stolen were a Spinning Gum, a Peppermint Gum and a European Beech. All were between 2 and 2.5metres tall and very healthy.

If you have any information about who may be responsible, please notify New Norfolk Police on 6230 2111.
