Yarraman to dive into refurbished pool amenities as construction tender awarded

“We’re proud to be carrying out upgrade projects across the Region to bring older facilities in line with modern building standards under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1992,” Cr O’Shea said. “As part of these works, the outdated sling hoist will be replaced with a new chair lift to improve access to the pool, along with a new wheel chair accessible pathway between the kiosk, change room and the pool. “Our Region celebrates diversity and inclusion and Council is always looking for ways to improve our outdated community facilities and improve PWD access to ensure all community members have the same opportunities."
