The highly popular Easter Egg Hunt and Colouring In Competition are both set to return.

The Easter Egg Hunt will once again be held in conjunction with the Centenary Park Charity Markets, which are to be held on Sunday, 26 March 2023.

Councillor Sonia Bennetto said that this event has quickly become a community favourite, for both the young and young at heart.

“If last year is any indication, tickets are expected to sell out quickly, even with additional tickets added to accommodate for high demand, so those interested are encouraged to register early,” said Councillor Bennetto.

Registrations for the Easter Egg Hunt will open on Monday, 6 March 2023.

Five (5) sessions will be available at the following times: Session 1: 8:30am – 9:00am Session 2: 9:00am – 9:30am Session 3: 9:30am – 10:00am Session 4: 10:00am – 10:30am Session 5: 10:30am – 11:00am

Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy other activities as part of the day’s celebrations, including face painting, and arts and crafts.

Council is also encouraging children to enter the Easter Colouring In Competition, with three different age categories available, and some great prizes up for grabs for the winners, including random draw prizes.

Entry forms are available at Council’s Administration Centre, the Excelsior Library, and online at bit.ly/CTRC-Easter.

Entries for the Colouring In Competition close at 4pm on Tuesday, 28 March 2023.

“Scheduling the Easter Egg Hunt to happen at the same time and location as the markets means it is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Centenary Park as a family.

“I’m excited that the Easter Bunny will be joining us again and will make a short visit from 11am,” continued Cr Bennetto.
