Expressions of Interest - Swimming Pool User Groups Update for Nebo and Glenden

Isaac Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from community members in Nebo and Glenden to form Swimming Pool User Groups.

Council released an Expression of Interest on 25 August 2021 to community members of Nebo and Glenden to register interest in joining their community pool user groups.

To date, no interest has been received from Nebo and Glenden. We strongly urge residents to consider joining the user groups to meet with Council regularly to discuss their local pools.

We rely heavily on community support and input to provide the best possible service to all residents.

Council thanks for the great community interest from Clermont, Moranbah, Dysart and Middlemount.

The intent of the groups is to provide a forum for • Genuine feedback and discussion • Issues arising • Planning for the pools across our communities.

Council is interested in hearing from interested parties from schools, swimming clubs, community groups and the wider community.

There is a plan to hold monthly meetings in each community to coincide and follow scheduled monthly swimming pool lessee meetings. Register your interest by emailing [email protected] with the subject heading Swimming Pool User Groups.
