Critical Works and lessee at Nebo Swimming Pool, Update #2

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents the Nebo swimming season will open for the 2021-22 season on:

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents the Nebo swimming season will open for the 2021-22 season on:

Wednesday, 29 September 2021 10am to 3.30pm inclusive of weekends

This is due to the new lessee unable to deploy its staff due to Queensland Health COVID-19 directives and border restrictions. Staff have been declared as “non-essential” workers by the Queensland Government.

Council has made alternate arrangements and due to travel and operational requirements the hours have been limited until border restrictions ease.

A new filtration system, repairs, pool shell reseal, skimmer boxes installation and upgrades to the amenities are now complete following extensive delivery delays of materials over the winter break.

Water leakage was detected in the pipework last week, but it has been repaired and the pool is running under observation.

Council will update the community once new information comes to hand in relation to the pool’s maintenance and operating hours.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thank the community for its patience as safety at all Isaac aquatic facilities remain a priority.

If you require further information please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
