An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Executive Assistant to join Isaac Regional Councils’ Corporate, Governance and Financial Services Directorate, based in Moranbah.

About the Position:

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Executive Assistant to join Isaac Regional Councils’ Corporate, Governance and Financial Services directorate, based in Moranbah. The Executive Assistant position provides executive and administrative support, project management and business reporting as required to the Director Corporate Governance & Financial Services.

The Executive Assistant position is responsible for managing communications and provide high quality customer service with internal and external stakeholders, ensure Directorate reporting is of a high-quality standard and facilitate electronic file management, organisation of travel, conference arrangements, meetings and catering as required. This position will also require the prioritisation and management of appointments, information and administrative system, taking of minutes at meetings and the processing and reconciliation of accounts.

For this position we offer:

$72,843.44- $81,424.43 (Level 4 – Level 5, Stream A ) + allowances; Normally 72.5 hours per fortnight; RDOs in accordance with Council Policy; 12% super in accordance with Policy.

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Executive Assistant who possesses:

Experience in correspondence management, taking of minutes, controlling a diary, account reconciliation and file management. High level experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including an advanced level of accurate and efficient typing skills is essential. Certificate III in Business Administration or significant experience (5+ years) in an Administrative Support or Executive Support role is essential.
